Policies

  1. At least one author of each accepted paper to an ESEC/FSE event must register as non-student by the camera-ready deadline (Saturday July 8, 2017) for the conference - if the paper is accepted to an ESEC/FSE workshop, for the workshop accepting the paper - and present the paper at ESEC/FSE 2017 in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings. One-day registrations or student registrations do NOT satisfy the registration requirement (this also applies to journal-first papers), except the SRC and Doctoral track, for which student registrations suffice.
    • One author has to register as member or non-member (not student) and check Main Conference all days to register for all three days.
    • A student with a student registration can present a paper if a co-author is already registered at member or non-member rate for all three days.

  3. Rates
    • Member rates are applicable for members of ACM and ACM SIGSOFT. A valid membership ID must be provided on the registration form.
    • Student rates are available only for students who are enrolled in a university or college as an undergraduate, graduate or PhD student. Proof of student status must be shown upon request.
  4. Early registration fees apply for all registrations received before midnight July 21, 2017 (AoE). If payment is not received within the above deadline, the next applicable fee will be charged automatically.
  5. On-site registration
    • On-site registration will be possible at an added cost, see above, and availability cannot be guaranteed. In any case you can save time on-site by registering online before the event. Note: we can only accept credit cards for the on-site registration.
  6. Payment Terms
    • All payments are processed through the RegOnline.com gateway; the ESEC/FSE 2017 organization committee has no liability whatsoever. Member registration rates are available to members of ACM SIGSFOFT or ACM only.
    • Payment options: Credit Card only (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
  7. Cancellations and Substitutions
    • Registration fees will be refunded only if the cancellation request is submitted no later than August 3, 2017 (anywhere on earth). Cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of € 50.00 + VAT to cover administrative charges. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the above date.
      Substitutions of delegates are permitted upon payment of a € 30,00 fee. All name changes must be communicated by email to esecfse2017-registration@lists.upb.de . In the case that the registration fee due by the substituting delegate is higher than the paid one, he/she will have to pay the difference. Conversely no reimbursement will be provided if the fee due is lower.
